Catalyst Operating Partners
CCM’s Operating Partners consist of prominent senior business
executives and entrepreneurs who are experienced in running growth oriented
companies and who bring both industry and functional depth to assist
the fund’s portfolio companies. We will meet regularly with the
Operating partners for assistance in evaluating new opportunities, due
diligence support, and in identifying industry and investment trends.
In addition, the Operating Partners may work with the funds portfolio
companies. Roles with portfolio companies may include Board representation,
interim executive positions or special projects in their area of expertise.
Jim
Spira
Former President and Chief Operating Officer of American Greetings.
Managing Partner and Director of Diamond Technology Partners. Co-founder
of Cleveland Consulting Associates (an operations management consulting
firm), serving as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1974 until
1989. Serves on the boards of Brulant, LLC, AmericanGreetings.com, Ciber,
Inc. and Dealer Tire LLC.
Ed
Anderson
Former President and CEO of Compucom Systems, a $2.3 billion computer
reseller and services company. Led the company’s growth from $700
million to over $2 billion in hardware sales and from $15 million to
$300 million in services. Also served as Chairman and CEO of E-Certify,
a security software company. More recently, has been involved in assisting
several start up companies in their financing and development, primarily
in the technology industry. Currently serves on the board of DiamondCluster
International, Inc. (DTPI).
Roy
Winkles
Marketing strategy consultant and executive for over thirty years with
an emphasis on accelerating revenue growth and business innovation.
Principally in private practice for the last five years, while serving
as investor and counselor to several start-up and turnaround situations.
Consulting experience with some of the premier strategy firms including
McKinsey, Mercer and DiamondCluster. Prior to consulting career, served
as Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble.
Roy
Walters
Former Vice President and Managing Director of First Consulting Group
(FCGI), a global healthcare consulting firm, with over 25 years of experience.
For First Consulting Group, he served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle
Services, Implementation Services, the Midwest Region and the Chicago
Office. Prior to the positions held at First Consulting Group, served
as Partner at Andersen Consulting and led Andersen's Western Region
Healthcare consulting practice. He is a member of the American College
of Healthcare Executives and Health Information & Management Systems
Society. He has authored numerous articles and spoken before regional
and national groups.
Steve
Mitchell
Former President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Lester B.
Knight & Associates, Inc., an international professional services
firm involved in the planning, design and construction of world-class
advanced technology research and development and manufacturing facilities.
In his 27 years as one of the two principal owners, he successfully
guided the firm’s transition into the advanced technology markets.
The firm employed over 700 people in 12 offices in six countries. Serves
on the board of Knight Facilities Management, Inc., Apogee Enterprises,
Inc. (APOG), and Landauer, Inc. (LDR).
Dan
Dennis
Independent telecom industry consultant and former thirty year telecom
sales and operations executive. Division President of several multi-billion
dollar units for MCI, where he spent nearly twenty-five years of his
career. Served on the board of LDMI. Currently works with early stage
private companies on business development and third party marketing
channel issues.
